II. Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Website or App, we collect certain internet or other electronic network activity information automatically as described in this section. As discussed further below, we may use a variety of technologies to assist in collecting this information, including cookies and other online tracking mechanisms.
· Log Files. For all users of the Website, the Website's web server uses an extended log file format, which captures the date and time of visit, referring address (location from which a visitor comes to the Website), type of Internet browser, and visitor's IP address (each computer that connects to the Internet is assigned a unique number, an IP address, for identification purposes). The log file does not capture a user's email address.
· Cookies. A cookie is a series of data characters that, when programmed into a website, is placed by the web server into the browser's application folder on your computer. Once placed onto your machine, the cookie will allow the website to "recall" you as a unique individual. The Website uses cookies to personalize information for certain segments of its customer base. Cookie information may allow us to determine things like the referring address, the type of browser or mobile device you are using to access the Website, your IP address, language, approximate geographic location, and time zone. We use this information to troubleshoot, administer the Website and its services, analyze trends, gather demographic information, comply with applicable law, and cooperate with law enforcement activities. Should you choose to do so, cookies can be removed from your hard drive and certain web browsers can be set so that cookies are not used or saved. Please check with your browser provider for more information on removing cookies. This Privacy Policy covers our use of cookies only and does not cover the use of cookies by third parties, including our third party partners and service providers, but third party cookies may be used in order to develop new services or improve the services.
· Third Party Tracking Technologies. We use third-party analytics services, such as Google Analytics to collect information on the use of the Website and App. Please visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/ for more information. To prevent Google Analytics from using your information for analytics, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on by clicking here.
· Mobile Device Identification Technologies. On our App, we may use technologies that perform similar functions to cookies, such as mobile device identifiers, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs). These technologies help us recognize your device, understand how you use our App, personalize your experience, troubleshoot and administer the App, analyze trends, gather demographic information, comply with applicable law, and cooperate with law enforcement activities. You may be able to control the collection and use of certain information through your device settings (such as limiting ad tracking or resetting your advertising identifier).
We do not respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals to the extent received from a web browser. Because there currently is not a universally accepted technological or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals as reflections of user choice, we do not respond to them at this time.
